Egon Ronay Dies (RIP)

Hungarian born Egon Ronay, creator of the infamous Egon Ronay restaurant guides and former Daily Telegraph food critic died earlier today, aged 94. Renowned for never accepting a free meal, Ronay published his first guide in 1957 and remained a critics well into his late 70's.

The culinary world is at a loss today as it bids farewell to a legend who built his reputation on integrity and passionate commitment to transform the eating habits of our nation.
