WE RAISED OVER £70,000 FOR HAITI!!!!

It truly is amazing what can be done in just 3 short weeks when you REALLY put your mind to something. I will be honest and say, I put my heart, mind, soul and almost every waking hour into pulling this project off and I am so proud to say it worked! With a little help from my friends, some wonderful Chefs and the lovely venue, we pulled off an incredibly successful event, attended by 180 guests who all digged-deep on the night for both the raffle and auction and helped me raise over £70,000! Every single penny of which will go to Action Against Hunger to use on their Haiti relief programme.

Action Against Hunger are a wonderful charity who were one of the first group of aid-workers to reach Haiti. With 120 staff working tireslessly to on medical, nutritional and educational programmes to help people rebuild their lives and look after their families using the resources they have available. They also run a water distribution programme as well as enable people to learn about how to sustain a food and water source for the future.

Since the earthquake struck on January 12th 2010, over 200,000 people have died, 300,000 people have been injured and over 1.5 million people have been left homeless. The money we raised will go some small way towards helping the survivors of this tragedy, but more donations are needed, so please donate now (however big or small) Click here to make your donation NOW... PLEASE! :
